Educating people about money

I have been in finance business helping people manage and invest their money.

My goal is to create a series to give you unbiased, useful information that will help you manage your money. No product advertisements. No sales pitches. Just straightforward, understandable information.

My ultimate hope is that after reading these books you feel more informed, more in control of your money, and perhaps most importantly, more able to successfully plan and reach your financial goals.

Why spend more time than you need to, learning about credit?
Why spend money on books filled with information you'll never use?

If you're like most people, you want information that gets straight to the point, that holds your interest, that's easy to understand and immediately useful. Information like:
  • Charge, credit and debit cards: what's the difference?
  • Should you borrow against the value of your home?
  • Credit reports: what do they say about you?
  • What can you do to restructure big debt?
  • What are your legal rights with collection agencies?
  • Who lends money, and why?
Most people don't need to be financial experts. They simply need enough information to make intelligent decisions about the important aspects of their lives.
